Madar explanation

What does the Article mean in plain language?

Registration information must be kept current: notify the Ministry in writing immediately when a material change occurs and in writing 30 days before any intended change; the Ministry may amend or cancel the registration. Identify the change, its date and evidence and whether it requires a data update or reassessment of registration conditions. Updating the commercial registry or an internal system does not prove NBR's record was updated.

Who should read this?

Relevant to importers, producers and holders of goods under suspension.

Practical action

Compare NBR records with current details and retain evidence of each material-change submission.

Illustrative Madar example

How can this rule appear in practice?

Moving premises requires checking the NBR address, not merely changing invoice stationery.

The example is explanatory; it is not an NBR case or a binding result for a specific fact pattern.
Common mistake to avoid

Waiting for the next return to update previously changed registration details.
