أ) يُقصَد بالألفاظ والعبارات الآتية - أينما وردت في القانون - المعانيَ المبينةَ قرينَ كُلٍّ منها، ما لم يقتض السياق خلاف ذلك: المملكة: مملكة البحرين. الوزارة: وزارة المالية. الوزير: وزير المالية. الاتفاقية: الاتفاقية الموحَّدة للضريبة الانتقائية لدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، والمصدَّق عليها بالقانون رقم (39) لسنة 2017. المسجِّل: الشخص المسجَّل لدى الوزارة لأغراض الضريبة وِفْقاً لأحكام هذا القانون. إنتاج السلع الانتقائية: أيُّ عمل يشمل صناعة السلع الانتقائية في المملكة، أو زراعتها، أو تغيير تركيبتها؛ بالقدر الذي يترتب عليه فرْض الضريبة. الفترة الضريبية: المدة التي تُحتسَب الضريبة المستحَقة خلالها. اللائحة: اللائحة التنفيذية لهذا القانون.
ب) فيما عدا ما نصت عليه الفقرة (أ) من هذه المادة، تكون للألفاظ والعبارات الواردة في القانون المعانيَ المحدَّدةَ لها في الاتفاقية.
